The Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire, Mr Edward Harley CBE, recently visited Spectra offices to formally present the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise (KAE), recognising the company's outstanding achievements and contribution to business excellence.

The presentation took place on 21 September 2026, with the Lord-Lieutenant supported by Lord-Lieutenant's Cadets. Guests gathered at Spectra's premises to celebrate the organisation's success and the national recognition bestowed through The King's Award for Enterprise.

During the ceremony, Simon Davies, CEO, welcomed guests and spoke about Spectra's development, its products and services, and the qualities that make the company stand out within its sector. Following the introduction, the Lord-Lieutenant formally presented the King's Award for Enterprise crystal to Shaun Barry on behalf of Spectra.

In his address, the Lord-Lieutenant congratulated Spectra on its achievement, acknowledging the dedication, innovation and hard work that have enabled the organisation to attain one of the UK's highest honours for business.

The King's Awards for Enterprise are among the most prestigious business awards in the country, celebrating outstanding achievement in areas including innovation, international trade, sustainable development and promoting opportunity through social mobility. Receiving the award is a significant accolade and reflects Spectra's commitment to excellence and continued success.

Following the presentation, guests enjoyed refreshments and the opportunity to meet members of the Spectra team and fellow attendees as part of the celebrations.
