HM Lord-Lieutenant attended the unveiling of Herefordshire’s Official Community Flag.

The unveiling was held at Hereford Cathedral with the semi-finalists and their families present.  The winner was announced by the flag being hoisted from the Cathedral tower.

The winning design was by Jason Saber whose design is a bull, above the River Wye and the county’s deep red soil.

Jason’s design was chosen by the people of Herefordshire from a short-list of the five, whittled down from an original 695 entries, a UK record for any flag competition.
